Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of Studio Pilot ("the app"), provided by [Echo Punch LLC] ("we", "us"). By installing, signing in, or otherwise using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, contact us right away at support@studiopilot.app.
2. Subscription and billing
- Studio Pilot offers a free trial and paid plans. Current pricing is listed at [studiopilot.app/pricing].
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through [Stripe]. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep paid access until the end of the current period. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
- Trials convert to paid automatically unless you cancel before they end. We'll remind you beforehand.
3. What the app does and doesn't do
Studio Pilot helps you manage projects, clients, tasks, calendars, time, and invoices. It integrates with third parties you opt into. It is not a replacement for professional accounting, legal, or tax advice.
Invoices, contracts, and communications you create with the app are your responsibility. We don't verify their legal validity in your jurisdiction.
4. Your data and your content
You own your data. Full stop. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and where. You can export everything or delete everything from Settings → Privacy & Data at any time.
You grant us a limited license to process your data only as needed to operate the app — authentication, syncing between your installs, delivering portal pages to clients you invite, etc. We don't use your data to train machine learning models.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Studio Pilot to:
- Break any law or infringe anyone else's rights (copyright, privacy, IP)
- Send spam, phishing, or malicious content through the invoice / portal / email features
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code beyond what's allowed by law
- Resell access to other people without a Team plan
- Abuse the BYOK API integrations (Claude, Stripe, etc.) in ways that violate those providers' terms
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Third-party services
Integrations with Google, Dropbox, Wave, Resend, Stripe, Supabase, and Anthropic are optional. When you use them, you're also agreeing to those providers' terms. We're not responsible for outages, changes, or actions taken by those services.
7. Warranties and disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the app reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, zero bugs, or that data will never be lost. Back up your database regularly (Settings → Import Data → Backup).
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost revenue — even if we've been warned they might happen.
9. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time. We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, or if required by law. On termination, you lose access to paid features, but your local data stays on your computer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes we'll notify you in-app and update the date above. Continuing to use the app after the change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State / Country], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute goes to the courts of [jurisdiction].
